This was an animation exercise I did with paper puppets I created with paper,studs and watercolors using Dragonframe for animation. its the story of a cat s husband being possessed by an owl and she panics and leaves the house. 

I planned out the story and setting then got to work to make the backgrounds which was the longest part of the process surprisingly.

I managed to work smart not hard by having the husband be part of the background and only overlay and animate the head. 

I made 4 paper puppets total of wife cat . 

for the close up lip synch shot I made her body part of the background and overlaid her head and ears and arm for movement . 

All the various mouths for each sound .

I then switched out the eyes and mouth for each sound and emotion i needed .
